VM and memory
Help. I am using the canned QNX 6 for VM. It is apparently set for 3G of memory. When I up the available memory in VM
, QNX still uses 3G. Is there any easy way to bump the memory that QNX sees and ** uses **. Thanks much.
Re: VM and memory
Try passing -x to startup-bios to enable PAE

Re: VM and memory
Colin - thanks. Do I need to rebuild startup-bios or is it called in a way that I can modify the args without a rebuild?
If I need to rebuild startup-bios, is that all I need to do (change, recompile and put it in /boot/sys) or ??? Any
cautions?

Re: VM and memory
You don't need to modify startup-bios, but you need to run mkifs to
regenerate the boot image, then transfer that onto the image.

You'll need to become familiar with the docs for startup-bios and mkifs,
and you'll have to locate the build file used for your current system.
