IDE Tau Alpha I Build#
The internal code name for the next release of the IDE called Tau. You can experiment with the new features of Tau after you install the IDE Tau Alpha I build. We welcome your suggestions for improvement.; use the IDE Forum for dscussions about the IDE, and to post your questions, comments, and suggestions.
What's new?#
Installation Instruction#
- Download and install QNX Momentics 6.3.2
- Download Tau Alpha I from the Project Download area.
- Save the downloaded ".zip" file to a temporary directory, use your favorite unzip program to extract the zip file. Sample unzip programs include "Winzip" on Windows and "unzip" command on Linux.
- Extract the zip file content. It will create an "eclipse" directory.
- On Linux, make sure "$QNX_HOST/usr/bin" is at the beginning of the $PATH environment variable. This can be inspected by issuing this command in a shell:
- On Linux, set the "LD_LIBRARY_PATH" by issuing this command:
- export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$QNX_HOST/usr/bin:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
- On Linux, run "eclipse/qde" to launch the IDE
- On Windows, make sure "%QNX_HOST%\usr\bin" is included in the %PATH% environment variable. This can be inspected by issuing this command in a Windows command prompt:
- On Windows, run "eclipse\qde.exe" to launch the IDE.
