Hi:

Can anyone recommend a current external modem that can be used for dial up support with QNX 4  and the modem command ?

We are using some old US Robotics modems:

  1. Courier HST Dual Standard with ASL
  2. Courier v.34 fax with v.32 bis
  3. 3COM US Robotics 56K Voice FaxModem PRO Model 0525

We'd be interested in seeing if anyone has tried more current models.

In the past we had tried using US Robotics sportster models but could not get them to work properly. We'd get a connect 
but no QNX login prompt.
In the instance aboyve we were trying to connect to the Sporster model from
a Courier HST Dual Standard with ASL modem as in item 1 above.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

     If you don't mind the color blue try the TrendNet TFM-560X (HW Version: YO).
