I get a slogger error of Unable to create event thread and have traced to ion_register returning -1. I cannot find any 
documentation for ion_register, so it is very difficult to determine how to fix. This occurs with devn-asix.so, with 2 
different vid, pid USB/Ethernet dongles. Any suggestions?
