system profiler Lost Buffers with 6.4.1 PPC   
Porting from 6.3.2 PPC to 6.4.1 PPC one of my applications stopped working as expected.  I broke out System Profiler to 
see what was going on and I can not get any useful information from the kev logs.  Every log I attempt during my test 
condition says buffers have been lost.  The specific interval of interest I am trying to analyze contains no event data.


I have no difficulty running the test condition and getting an unabridged log under 6.3.2 PPC.

Anyone having similar problems or can offer an explanation?

Are you using tracelogger or qconn?

Try using tracelogger in direct mapped mode, it's way more efficient
