Fsys.atapi and Sil3512 device
Hello,

We have PCI 2xSATA controller from Silicon Image (0x1095,0x3512).

Looking at the driver contents I found the following
devices: Sil 680, Sil 3112, Sil 3114, Sil 3512.

I have tried to start Fsys.atapi with different options but
unfortunately no luck.

Is Sil3512 controller supported by the Fsys.atapi ?
If yes, how to start it in order to get Sil3512 device working ?

Also there is "supported" option which should display all chipsets supported by driver.

When I call it:
#Fsys.atapi atapi supported &

then driver prints:
# No Adaptors found!

and exits.

Is it a right behaviour ?
How to properly use this option ?
How to print list of supported devices ?

Regards,
Jacek

Hi,

Can anybody tell me if Sil3512 is supported or not ?
If yes, how to use and start Fsys.atapi driver ?

Jacek
RE: Fsys.atapi and Sil3512 device
The driver requires the PCI sub class code be IDE. Looks like it is set
to other. Maybe it can be changed in the BIOS. As for the "supported"
option, it will dump the supported chipsets to traceinfo. They can also
be dumped to the screen if the verbosity is increased ie Fsys.atapi
atapi verbose=5,supported.
