Dear QNX4 community, we are running our QNX 4.25 based software system with a gui under photon 1.12. The Chipset is a Geode LX800 with integrated graphics. I am using the Pg.lx800 driver and latest crttrap.list downloaded from the forum at another location. After rebooting the hardware our system comes up well including the graphics. But when restarting the system via a shell script that issues exactly the same commands as during boot time the graphic gets stuck and just shows a black screen. To me it looks like switching back to text mode does not work properly and therefore starting graphics mode again fails. On other hardware we do not see this problem, only on LX800. Any ideas or debugging hints are highly appreciated. Best wishes Frank
Hello, Frank! Please find attached updated driver. Is it work properly? Best regards Andrey
Dear Andrey, thanks a lot for the quick response. I tried your driver, but unfortunately the problem is still there. Do you have any idea, what i can check or try to get ahead? Best wishes, Frank
Dear Andrey, one more comment about one issue i just observed. When i start the ph.qnx script to start photon it comes up normally without error messages. When i then quit it by pressing "Shift-Alt-Ctrl-Backspace" i get a SIGSEGV message as follows: //5/usr/photon1.12/bin/Pg.lx800 terminated (SIGSEGV) at 0005:00012CB7. Maybe this is not directly related to my above mentioned problem, but nevertheless there seems to be something unclean. Did you observe this problem also, or can it somehow be caused by my system configuration or setup? Best wishes Frank
Hello Frank, Sorry for the delay with my answer. Please try to test driver with the latest Photon 1.14. Every fix we are testing only under 1.14 version. Can you please send me output of the "show_pci -vv"? It's too difficult to fix this issue without hardware. Unfortunately, I do not have Geode LX800 now. Best regards Andrey
