MAC not getting set with io-pkt - worked in io-net
I have a customer using G4 PowerMacs as QNX targets w. 6.3.2
Works great, including the onboard GMAC NIC

Moving to io-pkt, the GMAC driver runs with the shim, but is not picking up the MAC. It's read directly from the
firmware, and set in startup in the hw area and read back in the driver from there.

Any obvious reason why that wouldn't continue to work ? It's possible the customer didn't do everything quite right, but
this is a pain for them - they have 15 MACs *not* running io-pkt...

Any ideas gratefully accepted !

RE: MAC not getting set with io-pkt - worked in io-net
Hi Dave:
What devn driver is it? Is it one of ours that we've
developed? Can we move this post to the drivers forum as well since I
know that Hugh monitors that one and may also be able to comment.
Certainly this isn't something that should be influenced by the shim
layer.

	Thanks,
		Robert.
