(QNX 7.1): Adding a second network driver to a running system using mount fails
Using the form of the example to mount an Ethernet driver, given in the mount man page

The command: mount -v -v -T io-pkt /lib/dll/devnp-rtl8169.so

gives me the follow verbose output:

Parsed: mount from [/lib/dll/devnp-rtl8169.so] mount on [NULL] type [io-pkt1]
exec: mount_io-pkt -o rw -o implied -o nostat /lib/dll/devnp-rtl8169.so /
mount: exec mount_io-pkt for /: No such file or directory
Type    [io-pkt] Flags 0x80080000
Device  [/lib/dll/devnp-rtl8169.so] Directory [/]
Options [NULL]
mount: Can't mount / (type io-pkt)
mount: Possible reason: No such file or directory

The machine has several Intel nics on the motherboard, and a Realtek on a PCIe board.

When I read the verbose output, it suggests to me that mount is trying to mount the Realtek driver to '/', which is
nonsense!
