We try to encourage responsible QNX people to make changes to the driver for
i210, QNX 6.5 SP1, e1000 :

According to document "i210-ethernet-controller-datasheet.pdf" page 555 , 6:5 the drivers automatic crossover mode can 
be enabled/disabled :

"Changes to these bits are disruptive to the normal operation. As a
result, any changes to these registers must be followed by a
software reset to take effect.
Upon hardware reset or auto-negotiation restart, this field takes its
default value from the setting of IPCNFG.Enable Automatic
Crossover bit, either 00b or 11b.
00b = Manual MDI configuration.
01b = Manual MDIX configuration.
10b = Reserved.
11b = Enable automatic crossover for all modes"

We try to suggest that the responsible 3 bits might be changeable from outside by driver options.
