Intel I219 Gigabit ethernet support in devnp-e1000.so ?
hi all

I'm trying to play with a new pc card mounting an embedded Intel I219 Gigabit ethernet device:

Class          = Network (Ethernet)
Vendor ID = 8086h, Intel Corporation
Device ID = 156fh, Unknown Unknown

but devnp-e1000.so (qnx 6.6) cannot recognize it.

Anyone knows if I219 support is planned in future e1000 version?
Or maybe is there a beta version already supporting it?

thanks a lot
Davide

This device is supported in the latest 6.6.0 e1000 driver. If you want the
official version, you will have to request it through your sales rep,
otherwise I can give you a desktop build of the driver.

great news Hugh!

a desktop build would be really nice for completing my tests, then we will wait the official one for the product release
.

thanks a lot!

Quickly tested with a ping (flood ping, just to be gentle) ...and it works!

Many thanks Hugh, your help is really appreciated :)

Can the devnp-e1000.so driver in the accessory be used in the QNX 6.5.0 SP1?

Re: Intel I219 Gigabit ethernet support in devnp-e1000.so ?
When I used this driver, it reported the following error.
"ldd:FATAL: Unresolved symbol "stk_context_callback_2" called from devnp-e1000.so"
but with the latest networking manager io-pkt-v4-hc you provided, it works fine.
Hugh,thank you for your help.

Re: Intel I219 Gigabit ethernet support in devnp-e1000.so ?
Hi Hugh,Does the intel i219 have a driver that supports QNX 6.5.0 sp1?
