Support for Intel i210 (ID 0x157b)
Hello everybody,

I am currently trying to make an Intel i210 Ethernet adapter work in QNX 6.5.0 SP1. The adapter bears the PCI device ID
0x157b and does not seem to be supported by the devnp-e1000 driver. I am using the latest version of the driver found at
 http://community.qnx.com/sf/wiki/do/viewPage/projects.bsp/wiki/DevnpE1000.so
Is there a way to add this device to the driver? I don't expect the chip to be different from the existing i210 devices
with various other PCI IDs.

Thanks
Thomas
Re: Support for Intel i210 (ID 0x157b)
To add some details:
The device 0x157b is an i210, flash-less device. Basically an i210, but with internal iNVM instead of an external EEPROM
 to store configuration data.
So the driver has to take car to read the configuration from the correct storage device.
Re: Support for Intel i210 (ID 0x157b)
I have attached an experimental (desktop) version to this email.

I was able to install the driver and all network interfaces showed up correctly.

Many thanks

Do you have an active QNX account?

Yes, I'm able to grap all the other files that are on that page, just not the e1000 driver.

RE: Support for Intel i210 (ID 0x157b)
I found the e1000 driver in the BSP update at :
http://community.qnx.com/sf/wiki/do/viewPage/projects.bsp/wiki/X86Bios

That will do. Thanks

Did you log out and then log back in again? We changed your permissions to
