Intel 82801G driver
Hello,
I have a target with an Intel i945/ICH7 Chipset.
the LAN Chip is recognized by pci -v as:
VendorID: 8086h, DeviceID: 27dch, 82801G (ICH7 Family) LAN Controller.

It seems that this adapter is not supported as under Configure->Network there is no Network displayed.

I searched in the HW database and only found 82801CAM (ICH3-M) and 82801DB (ICH4).

Is there a working driver for 82801G or can i cheat the drivers for 82801CAM/82801DB to work with 82801G ?

Thanks,
steve

If you start 'io-net -dspeedo vid=0x8086,did=0x27dc -ptcpip', does it work?

Re: RE: Intel 82801G driver
Yes, this seems to work.
How can I make this change permanent?
By putting a line like this into file /etc/system/enum/devices/net?

device(pci,ven=$(PCI_VEND_INTEL),dev=27dc)
