I have a driver I'd like to contribute; how do I go about doing that? Thanks!! -garyf
Hi Gary: First off, congrats on getting that driver ported over! I find it very promising that you were able to do so with no assistance from us (AND based off of an OpenBSD driver instead of a NetBSD one. :->). I must admit that we don't currently have a process in place for accepting a new driver quite yet. There are a number of legal ramifications associated with code ownership and rights that have to be addressed and we're not quite ready for that at this point. The other side of things is that we don't have the HW in house to verify operation and provide at least some level of support for other customers. Let me ask around and see if there's another mechanism (e.g. through the Bazaar) where you can post a source drop for people to grab if they'd like while I try and sort out a more official way to get customer written drivers into our code base. Thanks very much for the offer!
