I am working on USB wifi module (Sparklan RT2870). My development platform
is i.MX51.

I am using devnp-run.so driver and am able to load the driver.

Testing the module throughput using iperf and/or ttcp.

Am getting very less throughput.

Transmit - 20Mbps

Receive - 2 Mbps

 

When tested with the same module is Linux am getting better throughput.

Transmit - 73Mbps

Receive - 30Mbps

 

In the below link they have mentioned performance is less when a Netbsd
ported driver is used.

Is the performance so less??

 

Is there any way that performance of the driver can be increased.

Have anyone faced an issue similar to this.
