".svn" files showing up in my (4.5 IDE) file search window.
I started to use the 4.5 IDE last week and found this issue. When I do a file search I get matching results for my
hidden ".svn" files. Does anyone know how to turn this off?

Thanks

Mark
Re: ".svn" files showing up in my (4.5 IDE) file search window.
I cannot reproduce it at all. When I check out project from svn using
subversive I cannot even see .svn folder and even in Navigator view.
And they are unsearchable. What host you are on?

Elena

FYI - I use Tortoise SVN for all of my SVN work. I don't think that
would be a factor but you never know.

Yes subversive is installed. Tortoise SVN is a windows based interface
to SVN.

RE: ".svn" files showing up in my (4.5 IDE) file search window.
Yes I do see them in the Navigator. I use the project explorer window
most of the time and I do not see them in that window.

I'm working on it.... Just an FYI I never had this issue with the 4.1
IDE.

RE: ".svn" files showing up in my (4.5 IDE) file search window.
Elena

I don't see the .svn directories I the new project I created. That's
good news so I'm going to recreate my original project to see if it
fixes the problem. A second problem that I was seeing has become more
prevalent since I created the second project using subversive. I am
constantly getting "Internal Errors" any ideas on this one?

Re: ".svn" files showing up in my (4.5 IDE) file search window.
You run out of memory. How much you have on you machine? You need to add
options -Xmx700M -XX:MaxPermSize=128m to jvm launch.
If you running qde go to where it is located and find file qde.ini
there. Add these options in separate lines AFTER -vmargs (if they
already there increase mx one).

RE: ".svn" files showing up in my (4.5 IDE) file search window.
Elena

I have 2GB on my system. And this is how my qde.ini file was setup from
the IDE instillation.

-vmargs
-Xms256M
-Xmx512M
-XX:MaxPermSize=128m

I bumped the -Xmx up to 700M

Thanks Mark

You run out of memory. How much you have on you machine? You need to add

options -Xmx700M -XX:MaxPermSize=128m to jvm launch.
If you running qde go to where it is located and find file qde.ini
there. Add these options in separate lines AFTER -vmargs (if they
already there increase mx one).

The error is slightly different. I no longer get the first error, but I
seeing the "java heap space" errors.

I take it back.... It is a mix of both errors the "out of memory" and
"java heap space" errors together and the "java heap space" error by
itself.

Re: ".svn" files showing up in my (4.5 IDE) file search window.

directory and start IDE once again (don't return back your qde.ini!),
connect to svn repository from SVN perspective and check out both
project. Does it help?
