Re: Trinity 2 Milestone Build available for trial
Seems the formatting got scrambled on the original posting and messed up the links so trying one more time.
-------------
In case you haven’t run across it, the Trinity 2 M2 experimental build is now available for download and installation!!
You can find it at:
http://community.qnx.com/sf/wiki/do/viewPage/projects.core_os/wiki/Trinity2M2Build
M2 is a milestone build from the head branch that was taken on October 22 and has undergone full testing. It’s an
early version of the OS that will be included in the next full product release. However, to try it out, simply install
M2 on top of Momentics 6.3.2.
Trinity 2 is still early in development/testing but all major features are available in M2. The big addition for this
build is Memory Partitioning. The API is still being worked out but there are tools posted for trying it out. For more
details, refer to the readme, which also includes Known Issues, What’s Fixed, and What’s New:
http://community.qnx.com/sf/frs/do/downloadFile/projects.core_os/frs.qnx_neutrino_core_os_0.6_4_m2/frs1222?dl=1
Also, for a full description of features in Trinity 2, see the Trinity 2 wiki page (which also has the links to each
build):
http://community.qnx.com/sf/wiki/do/viewPage/projects.core_os/wiki/Trinity2
If you discover any problems please let us know via the forum. There will be a new milestone drop posted roughly once a
month until release.
Give it a try and let us know what you think.
Thanks,
Steve
