I'll give the nebulous answer of "it depends". Ideally we like
to strive to have original source content in certain areas of
the tree, while in others the rules are less stringent.
We already take advantage of several excellent BSD components,
similarly with the MIT licensed pieces. You can see the license
guide for more details if you are really interested.
When external committers are allowed on the core QNX source
components (tentatively aimed at Q2-2008), they will most likely(1)
have to agree to have the code released under the general QNX
copyright/license.
So ... what is the nature of the contribution?
