QNX Neutrino Install CD boot issue
I'm trying to install Neutrino on the old IBM Thinkpad 600 laptop. (Intel Pentium II 266 MHz, 96 MB RAM, EIDE CD-ROM
drive). When booting from the CD, loader prints "Hit Esc for .altboot" message (but it looks strange - something like
this: "Hit[unreadable_ASCII_characrer]Esc fo") then prints some dots and "D" letter.
I've read, that means that disc is damaged, but CD-ROM drive is OK (it can boot other bootable CDs and reads disks
correctly) and disc was burned correctly (checksum is right).
On the other machine this CD boots OK.
Do you have any ideas? Can it be old BIOS problem? Or it's the problem of Neutrino's boot loader? Is there any solution
of the problem?
