Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard
We were trying to install Neutrino Host 6.3.2, using a Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard. This is a USB keyboard; it came
with a PS2 adapter, which is what we used. It has all sorts of funky shortcut keys, tailored to Internet and multimedia
use, and many of the keys do double and triple duty.

We were unable to get the installation started, because the F keys were not functioning correctly. We replaced the
keyboard with a standard keyboard, and the installation went fine.

Was there something we could have done to make this work with the Microsoft keyboard?

In general, is this keyboard supported by Neutrino and the IDE?

My inclination is to toss the thing, but I'd be interested in knowing whether it can be made to work.

Thanks,

Kevin

I do remember some Logitech keyboards which had a similar issue. The
function keys were also used for the media stuff. If you wanted them to
stay as function keys you had to push a little "F-Lock" button which
worked like CapsLock. Maybe that one has the same type of button?

RE: Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard
It does have the F-Lock key, but apparently it doesn't fix the problem.
We are just going to use a standard keyboard.

Scratch the last; I am now told that F-Lock key does indeed fix the
problem. Thanks for the help.
