Forum Topic - What graphics cards work?: (5 Items)

What graphics cards work?
I have consulted the wiki videodriver list to identify a card for a PC based system.

So far I have a numbe of S3 PCI boards that are on your list, but don't seem to behave nicely. The Trio 64 vid-0x5333,
did=0x8811 is a good example. Selecting anything higher than 800x600 seems to cause issues with the board, as the
display looses sync.

I need a PCI graphics board to support io-display services for the Advanced Graphics TDK. What device(s) and drivers
work?
Re: What graphics cards work?
ok, so now I am using a Matrox Mystique 102B:051A. The driver runs 1024x768 in accelerated mode.

io-display -dvid=0x102b,did=0x051a results fails with the message "Could not initialize ... no such file or directory"

Sloginfo lists the "devg-matrox0.so: gfpr_dlopen: library cannot be found"

what to do to fix this?
Re: What graphics cards work?
I overcame the Matrox issue to find that the driver reports the hw cannot support the needs...

What PCI graphics card will support io-display???
Re: What graphics cards work?
I now see the light!

Where can I obtain a PC/PCI graphics card featuring:
Carmine or Coral devices?

This is for use with io-display and an AGTDK demo.
Re: What graphics cards work?
I've never personally purchased one, but if I had to guess, I'd assume
you can contact Fujitsu.
