I am trying to get QNX 6.3.2 Neutrino installed and running on a Thinkpad 
T61 laptop, and cannot get the boot/install CD (burned from the 6.3.2-nto632-200709062316.iso download) to boot on the 
laptop.  The CD appears to boot, but hangs with the line "hit escape for .altboot" followed by 80 or so '.'s.  Hitting 
escape does nothing (well, the '.'s don't appear).  I have used the CD to successfully install the OS on another machine
 (a PC104 architecture industrial machine), and gotten the CD to boot successfully on a Thinkpad T60.

The T61 laptop has a SATA harddrive, an EIDE CD/DVD drive and the 
ICH8M chipset, meaning that it has many similarities to machines discussed 
in the Known Issues:Booting section of the 6.3.2 release notes.  Is 
there any workaround that I can try to get this machine booted with the CD 
and then install the OS, or do I need to follow other methods to get the 
OS installed?  Will the OS (with any relevant patches) run properly on 
this machine?
