Building QNX Nutrino from QNX Momentics 6.3.2 ID

Hi,
We are able to install QNX Momentics 6.3.2 IDE for windows host(Full version which is of 90 days evaluation version).
By making use of this IDE how can we build and bring-up QNX Nutrino RTOS on my x86 platform (PC with P4, 1.8 GHz)?

or do we need to download the QNX Nutrino RTOS separately. But IDE download says following
"Download the QNX Momentics development suite 6.3.2 including the QNX Neutrino RTOS, fully integrated IDE, BSPs, driver
development kits, libraries, tools and more. Only two simple steps to get you started."

Please help in this regard

Thanks & Regards

It depends on what you want to do. You can certainly build your
own image (see mkifs utility and Building Embedded Systems in the
documentation) with the QNX Momentics 6.3.2 Windows Host.

This will require that you select all of the bits and pieces that
you need (ie filesystems, services etc) and then put it onto a
bootable media ... whatever that may be (generally in the case of
x86, it is a bootable filesystem).

If you start with the complete QNX Momentics 6.3.2 Neutrino Host,
then you will get an ISO image that contains a complete self-hosted
environment. The installation is more like a traditional OS install,
(put the disk in the drive and watch it go) and will likely include
much more than you need for a basic target configuration ... but it
is easy and straightforward.

Hope this helps,
 Thomas
