As long Your target is supported You need to make sure that You run

io-net .... //network must be up

On Your target .

This will make You able to connect to Your Momentics IDE.
For a sample x86 buildfile what makes an x86 target connectable with
Your IDE try that x86ph.build from post7240.

Once the target runs.....

On Your Momenticcs IDE side do:

Window -> Show View -> Other ... -> QNX Targets -> choose the "Target
Navigator" View
say ok.

Right click into that view and add a new target.
