Forum Topic - Can't install, Can't uninstall: (3 Items)

Can't install, Can't uninstall
In a moment of space panic, I deleted my QNX 6.5 files on a Windows system.
When I went to re-install, I was told by the installer that it would not install because it was already installed (how
nice).

So I scanned everything I could, hard drives, registry keys and deleted everything I could. I still cannot re-install
and I have no way to uninstall.

Is there some magic to doing this. I don't want to have to re-install Windows so I can install Momentics.

Thanks,

On installation cd there is "cleanup" utility somewhere (also search this forum - it was answered with more details
before)

Re: Can't install, Can't uninstall
Thanks, this helped ... sort of.

I used the uninstall on the DVD and it seemed to work.

When I tried to re-install, at least the installer was willing to try.

After a minute or two I got an error, something like this:

"Can't install because I don't have permission to write directory to null/Font."

Well there is no null/Font directory anywhere on my Windows system?

I did a scan of all the "Uninstall" messages on this group and found nothing similar.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks,
