SD card partitioning with VMWare.
I am currently working on an embedded QNX project which targets the armle processor. The image provided to me does not
have any tools to create partitions.
I would like to create a qnx6 partition on an SD card to store and access large files--files greater than 2 gig in size.
I am able to format a 16gig card with a 2gig fat32 filesystem, and boot QNX from said filesystem. I would like to
format the remaining 14gig to store the large files.
I also have a QNX VM running in VMWare from an iso that I downloaded from the QNX site. I am currently unable to access
the SD card from the QNX VM as I am from a Linux VM that I have running on my development workstation.
Are there any tools I can use from Linux to create the QNX filesystem on the card, or a way to mount the card on the QNX
VM? Or will I have to install QNX on a PC rather then a VM to be able to access the SD reader, to partition and format
the card?
Thank you.
