Unpack .tarx files?   
Ok, as a long time QNX 4.25 user, I need to unpack the QNX-4.25-01G.tarx Patch Release. I've tried the Momentics 6.2.1A 
System with no success.

Excuse me for the sarcasm, but it seems very useless of QNX to issue Patches that cannot be utiilized on the system they
 are intended for!

What should be a minor effort as resulted in numerous hours with no progress....

The install notes are in the download center just above that file:

Note that this patch is for QNX 4.25 so you can't unpack it on QNX 6.

Thanks Keith for the response.

 Yes, that helps some but by those instructions, I need Photon and the instructions also imply the Patch is on the 
original distribution CD.

That is the rub. I downloaded the qnx-4.24-01G.tarx file and donot have a CD, nor do we run  Photon. We use 4.25 with 
the /bin/sh. 

Always in the past, patches have been available in individual file form as well as in a tarball or pax format. Thus, the
 lack of following the QNX progress was not a problem.

This time it seems to be a pain and I still have accomplished no progress.
