I am providing support for a system that is running on STD-BUS. The video chipset is a Cirrus Logic GD5420 Super VGA 
controller; supports extended SVGA modes through 1024x768.

The system is running with CRT displays. We tried to replace failed units with flat panel displays that advertised 
support for some 1024x768 modes, but the FPs indicate that they do not support what the chipset is sending, even though 
the CRTs do. The FPs show the VGA boot screens, but when Photon starts up, it's no joy.

Does anyone have any advice?
