Tcpip 5.0 Terminating
We are running qnx4.25 with Tcpip5.0 and have found that the Tcpip process terminates, it usually happens under high-ish
load. Net continues to function. There is no dump file for the Tcpip process (we are running dumper). We have had this
happen on three separate installations and reverted back to Tcpip4.25 to deal with the problem, however Tcpip 4.25 has
an MSS issue that is a separate problem.

Anyone else have this problem or any ideas for a solution?
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

This is the version info:

Re: Tcpip 5.0 Terminating
Hi Jackie,

The TCP/IP 5.10 was released. You can find it on the QNX 4 Product Suite CD
2010 EXPERIMENTAL:

Let me know if new Tcpip will terminate too.

Tcpip 5.0 Terminating - Tcpip 5.0 terminated in our case also.

I have downloaded the new product suite, and made the update. Regarding to this I have two questions:

1) only TCPIP RunTime was updated from 5.0 to 5.1. TCPIP SDK has still the version 5.0. Is the version 5.1 for TCPIP-SDK also available? Or, run the programs stable compiled with SDK 5.0 under RT 5.1?

2) I would need to perform the update on a remote machine which is on a distance of 800 km. Therefore it is difficult to insert a CD into the remote machine and boot from the CD. Could sombody help me, which files, directories do I have to copy to the remote machine, and which program do I have to invoke, when I cannot insert a CD, and therefore I cannot boot from the CD on the remote machine.

Thanks in advance for the replies,
