82574L Gigabit Ethernet chip and Net.e1000 problem - QNX 6.4.1

Hi,

I am having a Little Board 735 PC104 motherboard with 82574L Gigabit
Ethernet Chip. I am trying to run the Net.e1000

driver to get the network working. I ran the following command:

Net.e1000 -d 10d3h -F -i 9 -l 1 -vv

It gives me the following messages:

/bin/Net.e1000[1]: 8hå: cannot execute - No such file or directory

/bin/Net.e1000[2]: [-l: cannot execute - No such file or directory

/bin/Net.e1000[3]: [-s: cannot execute - No such file or directory

/bin/Net.e1000[4]: Where:: cannot execute - No such file or directory

/bin/Net.e1000[5]: -b: cannot execute - No such file or directory

/bin/Net.e1000[6]: -d: cannot execute - No such file or directory

/bin/Net.e1000[7]: -f: cannot execute - No such file or directory

/bin/Net.e1000[8]: syntax error: `(' unexpected

#

Please help.

Regards,

DC

Just run 'Net.e1000 &', but if that doesn't work, then try 'Net.e1000 -d10d3
&'. Don't use the 'h' after the device ID.

RE: 82574L Gigabit Ethernet chip and Net.e1000 problem - QNX 6.4.1
Hi Hugh,
Thanks for the response. It didn't work. The file I downloaded looks like a corrupt one. Ld reported as a corrupt one. I
again downloaded the latest one from Foundry27 Rel1718.

Once unzipped I ran the following:

ld Net.e1000

it reports as follows:
file not recognized: File format not recognized

I ran all these under QNX 6.4.1. I am having a feeling that QNX 6.4 doesn't recognize this as a binary file. When I run
the file manager it reports this file as a data file. I changed the attributes of the file too.

Please help.
Regards,
DC

Just run 'Net.e1000 &', but if that doesn't work, then try 'Net.e1000 -d10d3
&'. Don't use the 'h' after the device ID.

The Net.e1000 is for QNX4. You must run devnp-e1000.so for QNX6.4.1.
