Forum Topic - Creating an image for BSP FreeScale iMX6 (QT5.5/QNX 6.6): (2 Items)

Creating an image for BSP FreeScale iMX6 (QT5.5/QNX 6.6)
I downloaded BSP package for FreeScale MX6 board Target, I extracted the zip which has /images directory, which contains
is "ifx-mx6q-saberlite.raw", "mkflashimage", "makefile", is the raw file an image that I can boot from, or do I have to
run the script to get a bootable image? Can someone point me to the docs for this, I can't seem to find it.

Hello Samer,
The BSP documentation is usually right alongside the BSP zip file.

The BSP directory is here:
http://community.qnx.com/sf/wiki/do/viewPage/projects.bsp/wiki/BSPAndDriver
s
I don't know exactly which Freescale (now NXP) i.MX6 board you are using.
As an example, the archive and the docs for the Freescale i.MX6Q Sabre
Board for Smart Devices BSP are here:
http://community.qnx.com/sf/wiki/do/viewPage/projects.bsp/wiki/FreescaleImx
6QSabreSmart

I see from your subject line that you are using Qt. If you are using QNX
Apps & Media, the docs are here:
http://www.qnx.com/developers/docs/index.html

Look for the Apps and Media 1.1 docs (second from top) then start with the
Getting Started guide.

I hope this helps,
Nicola Vulpe
