To recover corrupted file system
My QNX virtual machine was terminated unexpectedly when the host OS crashed. Since then, QNX starts saying:

    Read-only file system

that I assume due to an inconsistency on the file system (cf: http://askubuntu.com/questions/197459/read-only-file-
system). I've been trying to use QNX equivalent of `fsck` such as chkfsys, chkdosfs or chkqnx6fs but haven't really
figured out what arguments I should give especially with virtual machine entity. How can I run those commands? Or how
can I recover the file system?

Thank you.

First you need to make sure the host filesytem is ok. In the guest, QNX in your case, you treat it just as a normal
machine, the fact that it`s a virtual machine is irrelevant. First you need to figure out if QNX is using a qnx4 or qnx6
filesytem. You can tell be running the mount command, no argument,. For each partition fount it will show the type.

If it`s a qnx4 filesystem you use chkfsys, if it`s qnx6 use chkqnx6fs ! For the argument read the doc on each ;-) Also
in the case check out the doc to chattr +-snapshot as you might need it.
