Why QNX is not supporting coldfire MCF5485 processor

Hi,

Could you please let me know why QNX RTOS is not supporting coldfire,PIC microcontrollers. Is it due to any limitation 
of these processor archetecture ?

Also, I have observed that ThreadX kind of OS will support these processors , but they wont support high end processors 
. Why ?

There is any relation ship between processor architecture and OS kernel like some processors support Memory protection 
etc ?

My guess is because they don`t have a MMU.
