Re: Net.e1000 with i210 and i217
I had success with 0x1533
  ifconfig wm0 destroy
  io-pkt-v4 -d e1000 did=0x1533
I had no success with 0x15a3
  ifconfig wm0 destroy
  io-pkt-v4 -d e1000 did=0x1533

attached is the sloginfo.
after a reboot I only have access to wm0 (0x10d3), no wm1, wm2.

Thanks, until tomorrow!

Corrected typing of last reply:
  ifconfig wm0 destroy
  io-pkt-v4 -d e1000 did=0x15a3
Re: Net.e1000 with i210 and i217
Please can you try the following and send me the sloginfo output:

slay io-pkt-v4
io-pkt-v4 -de1000 did=0x153a,verbose=2

Re: Net.e1000 with i210 and i217
Sorry!!
It's very late and I should go home now :(
I made another typo in the call and therefore have to correct my statement:

All 3 network cards are sequentally usable with following:
  ifconfig wm0 destroy
  io-pkt-v4 -d e1000 did=0x10d3

  ifconfig wm0 destroy
  io-pkt-v4 -d e1000 did=0x1533

  ifconfig wm0 destroy
  io-pkt-v4 -d e1000 did=0x153a

What can I send you (tomorrow) to find the difference between QNX4 and QNX6 driver?
Re: Net.e1000 with i210 and i217
I¹m on vacation from tomorrow, so will only get to look at this in the New
Year.
At least I know that the driver works with 6.5.
Thanks for you help.

Hi Hugh and also a Happy New Year!

The driver is not starting up properly. Attached you will see the output on con1:

Re: Net.e1000 with i210 and i217
Happy New Year to you as well

I though that I had fixed the problem with the PHY Initialization error,
but it doesn¹t look like it. I have some urgent work right now, but will
have another look at the driver as soon as I get a chance. The problem
that I have is that I don¹t have the hardware to test the driver, so
please bear with me!

Thanks, Hugh.

Re: Net.e1000 with i210 and i217
Just to let you know that I haven¹t forgotten about you! I am having
trouble trying to get the 0x153a device working under QNX4, but will let
you know when I have some success.

Hugh.

Re: Net.e1000 with i210 and i217
Here¹s a working driver for you to try. I have run it with the 0x153a
device and it works fine.

Re: Net.e1000 with i210 and i217
Sorry, the command was:
io-pkt-v4 -d e1000 did=0x1533
