I have some troubles with io-usb on a "new" fast motheboards when another PCI devise catch the interrupt number the same as io-usb interrupt number: when I install USB Flash drive to USB socket - the QNX4 is blocked. It is no problem when no PCI devise occupy interrupt the same as io-usb. A there some plans to update io-usb and support USB 2.0? P.s. USB support looks more stable and Plug & Play in QNX6. Thank you
Hi Leonid, Yes, io-usb update is in our plans for next year. -- Respectfully, Oleg > I have some troubles with io-usb on a "new" fast motheboards when > another PCI devise catch the interrupt number the same as io-usb > interrupt number: when I install USB Flash drive to USB socket - the > QNX4 is blocked. > > It is no problem when no PCI devise occupy interrupt the same as > io-usb. > > A there some plans to update io-usb and support USB 2.0? > > P.s. Hi Oleg: I have experienced similar issues with the io-usb as well and would welcome an update to resolve this as well. - Kevin Oleg Bolshakov <community-noreply@qnx.com> 09/24/2009 04:32 AM Please respond to post38618@community.qnx.com To general-qnx4 <post38618@community.qnx.com> cc Subject Re: io-usb problems Hi Leonid, Yes, io-usb update is in our plans for next year. > > P.s. To calrify this a little.. Once the 2009 CD is released we'll start a separate project to update USB support. Once available we'll post experimental versions to this foundry project. This USB support will then be rolled into the next QNX 4 CD, which will be approximatly 1 year after this one. Late 2010 or early 2011. -Martin
