Re: kernel source code
Then the following page is quite misleading, I cannot checkout the source, kernel/userland/libc, nor can I view it
online anymore... =\

This is sad, how do I gain access to this source code? are only the drivers available to hobbyists now? I refuse to
print off any such form and send it in to you guys.. a great deal of the code is from the BSD's anyway, this makes no
sense.

Re: kernel source code
And WHERE is this simple "click-through" updated end-user agreement? I've never seen anything of the sort, so I cannot
even access the "Accessible" stuff mentioned in that new "FAQ".

This was done quite horribly, the source release was advertised to the press, and then the big shots made a big deal out
of it being "open source", but now the FAQ goes as far as calling it "proprietary" open source? what the hell does that
 mean anyway?

Is this the fault of the Research In Motion acquisition? because it's pretty low.. and.. it was not advertised or
mentioned anywhere... what about people who already checked out the source code that RIM/QNX has just deemed "
proprietary" again? is it illegal now?

This sucks, big time, and I'm not amused.
