We have many improvements in the works for this release. Here are some of the more notable ones:
- Album art — many more features than in our previous releases, including advanced features such as caching and thumbnailing
- IP network camera support — stream RTP video from network cameras
- Synchronization improvements — faster file and playlist synchronization passes
- Database fast restore on startup — uses QNX direct-io for fast DMA copying of database content while minimizing CPU usage
- Apple iPod video support — what it says
- Microsoft Zune with Album Art — what it says
- Video Support — MPEG-4 files with H.264 and MPEG-4 video content
