Multimedia Roadmap#

May 21st, 2009 — Aviage Multimedia 1.2 Release#

We have many improvements in the works for this release. Here are some of the more notable ones:

• Album art — many more features than in our previous releases, including advanced features such as caching and thumbnailing
• IP network camera support — stream RTP video from network cameras
• Synchronization improvements — faster file and playlist synchronization passes
• Database fast restore on startup — uses QNX direct-io for fast DMA copying of database content while minimizing CPU usage
• Apple iPod video support — what it says
• Microsoft Zune with Album Art — what it says
• Video Support — MPEG-4 files with H.264 and MPEG-4 video content
