Multimedia Roadmap#

May 21st, 2009 - Aviage Multimedia 1.2 Release#

There are lots of improvements that we have planned, here are some notable ones:

• Album Art - This will have many more features than our previous releases. Including advanced features like caching and thumbnailing
• IP Network Camera support - This will let you stream RTP video from network cameras
• Synchronization improvements - Faster files and playlist synchronization passes
• Database fast restore on startup - Uses QNX direct-io for fast DMA copying of database content minimizing CPU usage
• Apple iPod Video support
• Microsoft Zune with Album Art
• Video Support: MPEG-4 files with H.264 and MPEG-4 video content
