File Systems Technology#

QNX supports a variety of file systems to suit both a variety of different needs and different media.

The supported file systems fall into five main categories.

1. Image
2. Block (CD, DOS, QNX4, ...)
3. Network (NFS v2, NFS v3, ...)
4. Flash (Flash v3, ETFS, ...)
5. Virtual (Package Manager, Inflator)

The source for these file systems and their supporting utilities are also included in the repository. If you're looking for source, take a look at the Quick Guide to the File Systems Source. Pre-built binaries are available from from the Project Downloads Page .
