SDP 6.4.0 BSP Information#

This page contains important information required to use BSPs with the pre-released version of the QNX Software Development Platform 6.4.0.

What's New#

• 6.4.0 BSPs are packaged differently than their predecessors:
  • It is no longer necessary to run the setupbsp script, see Installing the BSP below
  • Documentation is now provided in Wiki format on Foundry27
• 6.4.0 BSPs were rebuilt using the new 6.4 libraries and toolchain. Consequently, they will only run on QNX Neutrino 6.4.

Installing the BSP#

IDE 4.5#

1. Download the BSP archive to your host development system
2. From the IDE,
   1. Select File > Import and then pick QNX > QNX Board Support Package, click Next
   2. Select Select Package... and browse to the location of the BSP archive, click Finish

Command line#

1. Download the BSP archive to your host development system
2. Extract the BSP archive in your workspace
3. Run setenv.sh (through ksh on Windows) TEMPORARY STEP THAT WILL GET REMOVED IN UPCOMING BSP RE-SPINS
4. Type make
