Project overview#The BSP project manages the development BSPs and device drivers What's in it for me?#
Licenses#QNX BSPs are released under various licenses. All new BSPs that are provided by QNX will be released under the Apache II license. Soem of the older BSPs, which have been deveoped using propritary code or other NDA informnation, will be released under the exisiting QNX MEULA. Community contributed BSPs should include details as to what licensing they fall under. Resources#Resources which will help the user work with, modify and write BSPs can be found on the wiki.Planning#Detailed release plan and the project roadmap are available from the planning section of the projectwikiProject overview#The BSPs and Drivers project manages the development of Board Support Packages (BSPs) and drivers for the QNX platform. It includes a repository of BSPs, some of which are developed transparently within the project.BSPs for each of the supported architectures can be downloaded from the BSP posting pages: QNX provides a wide variety fo device drivers. The list of supported devices and hardware can be found on the various drivers pages below: Driver development kits (DDks) will allow customization of existing drivers, as well as the writingof drivers to support new harware. Driver develpoment for audio, graphics, newtwork, charatchet, inputi and USB can be downnloaded from Driver development kits. Driver binaries are shipped with the QNX momentics toolset. Driver updates are also provided in GA patches between releases of Momentics.
