IDE 4.6.1#
IDE is an acronym which stands for Integrated Development Environment and a short form for the QNX Momentics IDE. The IDE is based on Eclipse and CDT (open source projects). It provides a Graphical User Interface for developing applications for the Neutrino Real Time Operating System (RTOS). The IDE runs on Windows and Linux hosts, uses cross-platform compilers for Neutrino, and supports "target machine" management with remote running and debugging of applications.
This page is for experimental drops of release for IDE 4.6.1. You can play with this version of IDE after you install one of the IDE 4.6.1 integration builds. We welcome your suggestions for improvement.
- IDE 4.6.1 contains only critical/customer bug fixed for IDE 4.6, but it is full version of the IDE (not a patch). Check out What is New in IDE 4.6 page to see what new feature and enhancements are implemented in IDE 4.6. For detailed change log see below..

Update site is available for this build at https://www.qnx.com/account/updates/foundry27/ide/4.6/. This update site can ONLY be used to update from earlier versions of IDE 4.6 or from non qnx eclipse based product (based Eclipse 3.4.2, must use old update manager).

- [68819] When dependency checking is active, the QNX C/C++ Project builder passes unrecognized options to the nasm tool in the GCC 3.3.5 toolchain.
- [68822] Cannot import a QNX Container Project in the IDE 4.0.1 (SDP 6.3.2) format into IDE 4.6 (SDP 6.4.1).
- [68823] Cannot set dependency checking to "All Headers" or "User Headers Only" for multiple projects at once, nor for container projects.

- [68900] Generating EFS images or exporting *.mkefs build files fails on unsupported [data=copy] attribute.
