QNX 4 Product Suite CD - future enhancements
Hi,
Can you place USB drivers package on the next release of installation CD ?
They should be visible in the /install.qnx/root/bin directory for example.

Yes, we plan to add new USB 2.0 stack (ported from QNX6) to the QNX4
Update CD 2010.

Hi Nicholas,
This is not planed at this point. In many cases you can set "USB legacy
mode" in your BIOS setup to use USB keyboard/mouse with the Dev.ansi
driver.

Then I can check whether a new io-usb will work on my actuall test equipment and give you a feedback.

It's not clear to me what you are asking for, but we do plan to update the USB components that are on the CD to the
latest that are posted here for testing.
If this is not what you are asking, please clarify...

I would like to have possibility to run USB stack during O/S installation.
So, USB drivers should be visible somewhere on CD (i.e. in \INSTALL.QNX\ROOT\BIN\ directory).
This will allow to mount filesystems located on USB Sticks, USB HDD's
and event to use USB Floppy drive. In result "QNX 4 Installation CD"
will be a more flexible...
