Regression testing was used throughout the project on the textual summary
report. This was in the form of a Perl script, rtesting.pl, which
will call cca.pl for each .c and .h file in the test
directory. For each
test file cca.pl will be called using -E, -D and -C switches to create
the
longest and most complete textual summary files. The textual summary files
will be the test filename with a .out attached. Each of these output
files will need to be hand-verified for correct output. Once checked, they
will
need to be renamed to the test filename with a .v attached. These
.v files
will be used to compare future test runs for correctness. All .v
files will
be checked into the RCS and checked out with the test cases.
