In the end I did a complete re-install of QNX 7 including Momentics. Now the debugger works.
Not sure what the problems was.

IDE cannot upgrade or downgrade. Just select one you want and install in separate folder. If you don't see all version check Show all versions in Add Installlation.... screen
But all IDE above 7.0 will support 7.0, the error you seeing something to do with debugger or communication not ideElena Laskavaia2024-02-15T13:59:19Zpost122486: Re: Using qconn with QNX 7 and Momentics.

Have not yet re-installed. I did use the Software Center to do a "Verify Installation". It found quite a number of problems but I eventually got it to the state where it says everything is fine.
Then I attempted to try and follow the instructions in this knowledge base article:
https://www.qnx.com/support/knowledgebase.html?id=5015Y000001jIX4
But I cannot perform a downgrade. I eventually figured out that I needed to select the "Installed" tab, then right click on "QNX (R) Momentics IDE", and click on "Downgrade...". I then got the message "No updates found. Configure available software sites to reach more content". I clicked the "available software sites" link in the message box, and this leads to a dialogue with a list of available software sites. There are already four in the list (all on my C drive), but I used the "Add..." button to add another. I called it "QNX download center" and guessed at a location of "https://www.qnx.com/download/". (see attached). Clicked "OK", and clicked "OK" on the error message box to dismiss it. Then tried right clicking and selecting "Downgrade..." again. It takes a little longer to search for the update, but eventually gets back to the "No updates found." message. So how do I downgrade? Is there another software site I should be specifying?Richard Ellingworth(deleted)2024-02-15T10:13:35Zpost122485: Re: Using qconn with QNX 7 and Momentics.
http://community.qnx.com/sf/go/post122485
If I go to Window->Preferences->QNX I see:
Select SDK = qnx700
Version = 7.0.0
SDK Tools Path = C:/qnx700/host/win64/x86_64
SDK Platform Path = c:/qnx700/target/qnx7
Prompt to clean when project SDK is changed = ticked
Seems OK. Both paths exist.
I might try to re-install QNX 7. Was hoping to avoid that.Richard Ellingworth(deleted)2024-02-15T08:04:42Zpost122483: Re: Using qconn with QNX 7 and Momentics.

OK. So I tried the "C/C++ QNX Application" option for the launch configuration. Now when I try to debug I get the message "Error in final launch sequence GDB prompt not read". I have seen suggestions that this is a Python problem and I may need to downgrade "Tools - Python 2.7 (Windows 64-bit)" from the software centre. But should that have worked? Is it using qconn?Richard Ellingworth(deleted)2024-02-13T15:32:42Zpost122481: Re: Using qconn with QNX 7 and Momentics.

I have debugged using qconn for many years using QNX 6.3.2. Target system is a PC running QNX 6.3.2. Development computer is another PC running Windows. These days it is Windows 10. The target machine is connected to the development machine via an Ethernet connection. Now we are moving to QNX 7, which the target machine is running, In Momentics for QNX 6.3.2 you could create a debug configuration of type "C/C++ QNX QConn (IP)", but in the version that comes with QNX 7 this option is not available. How do I debug using qconn? Is it still supported? Any help appreciated.Richard Ellingworth(deleted)2024-02-13T15:01:13Zpost122008: Re: qemu option requires the "Virtualization Drivers" package

The ability to create virtual machine targets is not intended as a means of emulating particular targets as you seem to want. Hi,
I'm trying to follow the quickstart guide having installed SDP7.1 & Momentics on Ubuntu 20.04 from the Software Centre under my evaluation license.
I select the 'New Launch Target' - 'QNX Virtual Machine Target'
VM Platform - qemu
CPU Architecture - armle-v7 (or aarch64le)
results in the error
--type=qemu option requires the "Virtualization Drivers" package
--- <arch> - process failed with exit code 1
Is this viable? I wish to simulate the J721e platform.
How do I get the "Virtualization Drivers" package?

Hi
Is it possible to get an already running Momentics instance to open a file (at a certain line) from the command line.
Eclipse can do it using "eclipse.exe --launcher.openFile filename:line"
If I try that with Momentics "qde.exe --launcher.openFile filename:line", it just spawns a new instance.Nikolaj Fogh2022-09-06T11:26:25Zpost121823: Re: Unable to build on Windows 10 -- cygwin heap error

But still I'm not sure how to trace all dependencies.

Is this the only way to resolve dependencies? Or does QNX provide much better way?Junoh Moon(deleted)2021-09-05T05:39:33Zpost121581: Re: Moving packages to virtual image in SDP 7.1
http://community.qnx.com/sf/go/post121581
mkqnximage doesn't add every file anyone could conceivably want. Instead it provides a base set and ways of extending it.
If you build an image you'll find you have a file local/snippets/system_files.custom. Anything you put in here will get merged with the build file used for generating the system partition. So all you need do is add lines to include files you want. The format is as used my mkqnx6fsimg since this is the utility that ultimately consumes the stuff. You can look at the build file that mkqnximage created, output/build/system.build to get a better idea of what goes here.
The documentation lists the other snippet files you can have.Roger Maclean2021-09-03T12:11:35Zpost121577: Moving packages to virtual image in SDP 7.1

It also appears that the Momentics IDE should be installed with it. I'm not sure where to access that application either. It may have been uninstalled when I took the old 6.5 stuff off.Garen Smith(deleted)2021-03-31T20:28:50Zpost121089: Re: Unable to build on Windows 10 -- cygwin heap error

I think there is no rebased version of the msys dll available that works with SDP 6.6
You can only try to reboot your machine, multiple times if need be, and launch Momentics first thing after log in.
Alternative solution is to install Linux Ubuntu in VM (Virtual Box works great) and use that.

Looking at the images that you have captured, you are attempting to run an SDP 7,0 x86 32 bit application on a QNX 6.4.1 target.
You need to setup the x86_64 SDP 7.0 VMware image that you downloaded from the QNX Software Center and change your project settings to build for x86_64.

If you project called test and binary called test renamed it to
something else, there is embedded command in shell called test it may
conflict...
Also is this x86_64 bit target by any chance? And you executing x86 (32)
bit binary?

Hi,
i wanna test parts of my program on a vm befor using them on real hardware,
so exactly that what the "QNX Neutrino RTOS Evaluation Run-time for VMware" is made for.
Problem:
--------
Building works, but after pressing Launch-Button the IDE throws the following errormessage (or see screenshot.png):
>> Error in final launch sequence
>> Cannot prepare and download the binary
>> Error starting remote application /tmp/main: Target
>> launcher@<192.168.237.128:8000>: Unknown response error Attempting to exec a
>> shared lib
>> Target launcher@<192.168.237.128:8000>: Unknown response error Attempting to
>> exec a shared lib
Informations:
-------------
Tried it with 2 hosts (every combination same result).
Host1: Windows 7, VMware Workstation 9
Host2: Windows 10, VMware Player 15
IDE: Momentics 7.0.3.v201804261557
I tried 2 VMware Images:
1.) Neutrino641Target: http://www.qnx.de/download/feature.html?programid=20725
2.) qnx700.x86_64.7.0.0.SGA201703011126: Downloaded using Software Center
I followed this Guide:
http://www.qnx.com/developers/docs/7.0.0/#com.qnx.doc.qnxsdp.quickstart/topic/about.html
The program is the by default generated HalloWorld program.
The program gets build without any errors.
Attachments:
------------
screenshot.png: Shows Windows7 host with Momentics Errormessage, QNX running on a VMware Workstation9 and Console windows showing the current IP-adresses.
windows_ipconfig_all.txt: Shows output from ipconfig /all command on the Windows7 host.
qnx_qconn.png: Shows QNX 6.41 as VM that qconn is running
momentics_qnxrtos_cpu_details.png: Shows that the QNX 6.41 VM uses a x86 architecture.

Can somebody gave me instructions to solve the problem?

Hi Patrick,
Service Pack installer requires these environment variables to be set:
$QNX_TARGET
$QNX_CONFIGURATION
echo $QNX_TARGET $QNX_CONFIGURATION to make sure they are set after installing 6.5.0.
You can also try passing these variables to 650SP1 installing in the following way:
sudo QNX_TARGET="/opt/qnx650/target/qnx6" QNX_CONFIGURATION="/etc/qnx" ./650SP1-installer.bin
These are the default values for $QNX_TARGET and $QNX_CONFIGURATION. They must be substituted as needed.Natalia Miyusova2018-07-19T18:18:05Zpost118979: Re: Unable to reinstall QNX6.6. Gettting already installed error

Sorry to comment on such an old post, but the suggestions don't work for me. Whatever I do, after installing SP1 a bunch of essential files are missing. This includes the *.mk files mentioned above, but also lots of headers like errno.h. I'm on Ubuntu 18.04 (x86_64).
What causes this? It seems the installer doesn't do much besides extracting files and setting up /etc/profile for the env. vars. Can't we just get a zipfile with SP1 to extract on top of a clean 6.5.0 installation? I can copy the missing files from a clean 6.5.0 install but i'm sure that's not the best approach...Patrick Masselink2018-07-03T15:13:11Zpost118840: Re: USB support on QNX

No, io-usb is just the raw low-level USB support. To use USB flash drive you need to additionally launch devb-umass driver, which will create /dev/hdX and enumerate all the partitions on the drive, ususally a t11 or t12. You can then mount them with mount -tdos /dev/hdXt11 /fs/usb0 (or wherever you want)

Maybe worth mentioning Mac host is only supported with 7.0 SDP, if you choose 6.6 you cannot use it

Those links are not for the most recent version of the product. For SDP
70, everything is downloaded though something called "QNX Software
Center".

All of this sounds reasonable. At first glance, MS ships an Eclipse
plug-in that seems well featured, and CMAKE does have QNX support. At the
worst, it looks like TFS supports command line calls for their build &
release tasks. Looks like TFS has an SSH deploy task, so you could use
that to deploy the built binaries to the test VM, trigger tests and copy
back results. Unfortunately it doesn¹t look like TFS supports gcov for
code coverage results.
However, as far as I¹m aware, it is not something anyone has done. I¹d
recommend trying it out as part of your evaluation. If you have questions
along the way, please let us know.

We use Microsoft Team Foundation Server to run continuous integration for application development (Windows/iOS). Now evaluating QNX and wish to sound the forum out for experiences with this setup. I realise that it may not be ideal, but we wish to leverage existing infrastructure and technical know-how as much as it is practical to do so.
As a minimum, this is what we want to achieve:
1. Develop with Momentics using an Eclipse plugin for TFS to access Git repos hosted in TFS.
2. Create an automated build task in TFS to trigger a build on commit. TFS is compatible with CMAKE with VisualGDB. When triggered, build agents wake up to build the project and hand off to the next step. Our QNX targets are likely going to be x86.
3. Unit tests kick in automatically. Doxygen kicks in to update documentation.
4. New executable gets deployed to a test VM.
5. Error reports get emailed to devs.
This is generally the process we use for application development and would love to know how well or poorly QNX dev fits in this process.

I recently switched from Mac to Windows 10. It's not absolutely horrible. I also find it depends on what your build system is doing. Copying lots of files around is slow. I've been experimenting with CMake and Ninja for a BSP I'm working on and it's pretty fast. It's around 300 files and I can build it in about a minute. I imagine a well structured Makefile running with make -j would be pretty good too.

I asked one of the product managers, and here's his reply:
QNX evaluation kits are not available for QNX SDP 7.0 at this point. We currently have a VMWare image and BSPs that can be loaded onto reference boards and enable you to perform an evaluation at that level.
You can proceed in one of two ways depending on the overall requirements of your evaluation.
The evaluation kits that we currently have are for QNX SDP 6.6. If you have a requirement for Qt, HTML5 or multi-media, we suggest that QNX SDP 6.6 be used for the evaluation. If you don’t have a requirement for those technologies, our suggestion is to evaluate QNX SDP 7.0 using a BSP for a reference board you have or the QNX SDP 7.0 x86-64 virtual machine for VMware that is available through the QNX Software Center.Steve Reid2017-11-13T18:23:29Zpost118190: Where is the QNX Evaluation Kit?

When I plug-in the USB in CPU and reboot system from USB, it starts QNX initial loading but after that system hangs up there. It doesn't make any further progress. I tried again and again but same issue is repeated. I thought that there is some issue in making USB bootable, may be USB is not proper bootable.

I used to use QNX back in late 90s, and I have a QNX box that goes back to those days (still work!). I need to get some files from this QNX machine onto a floppy drive, and I have forgotten how to do this. I looked around on the internet and did not find anything that worked.
Could someone just give me a few lines of instructions on how to do this?

Yes it is working, but I wanted to see if it is the same fix as I applied or a different one. I'd rather have a fix from the QNX team than one I found on an unrelated forum. I also want to have the most robust fix available.

I installed Momentics IDE 4.7.0 on Windows 10, building for the TI AM335x. The rest of my team is building on Windows 7. On my Windows 10 machine, the build failed with the following error:
--------------------------
**** Build of configuration QNX QCC for project move_sitara335x-src ****

cp -rf prebuilt/* install

From some searching on the web, I found that this is a Cygwin problem (I assume Cygwin is installed with Momentics, and runs underneath it). The fix I found is described here:
https://github.com/msysgit/msysgit/issues/123
which links to the following link, where I downloaded mysys-1.0.zip and replaced it at c:\\QNX650\host\win32\x86\usr\bin:
http://support.code-red-tech.com/CodeRedWiki/VirtualAllocPointerNull?action=AttachFile&do=view&target=msys-1.0.zip
I did as the link suggests, replacing msys-1.0.dll in the directory where I found it, at QNX650\host\win32\x86\usr\bin, and this fixed the problem. The build now works.

We tried to use the serial terminal several times but did not get any luck. We install the serial driver as in attached image. Plugged the board in, power it up. Then we tried to use Putty to connect to it, nothing come up. We also tried to use hyper terminal to connect to it with the same setting, the terminal responsed "Unable to connect to COM7, please check your port setting"
That was why we decided to blindly write to command to uEnv.txt as the alternative solution. That was how we got a little further with the Ethernet IP address with the hope that we can remote access to it or target it from QNX Momentics. But we stuck again :)
Do you have any recommendation or suggestion for us?Michael Nguyen(deleted)2016-12-05T22:02:24Zpost117246: Re: QNX - Beaglebone Black - Unable to set the target in QNX Momentics

I think at this point, your best bet would be to attach a serial cable to
the console to see what¹s happening. You¹ll be able to see what¹s
happening from the u-boot boot on up and see if there are any error
messages.

Thanks Dave,
I have a board with the same family processor as that Nexcom thing. I'll give that a go. If that works, then the screen driver only supports that vintage CPU. It would suck to start a new project with a 3 year old processor that's halfway through it's product life, but custom driver development is not really an option at this point.

The BSP for the Nexcom board only supports that board, so you will have to make some modifications to the build file that are specific to the hardware on your board. No other x86 board is currently supported for 6.5.0 SP1 Screen product. It may or may not be possible to boot any other boards, certainly the GPU would have to be compatible, if it is not, then a custom driver would need to me written.Dave Nickerson2016-05-04T17:10:55Zpost116217: Re: Adding Screen Add on to 6.5.0SP1 image

Thanks Dave,
That was a reasonable suggestion. I downloaded and loaded up that Nexcom BSP into Momentix. The good news was the .ifs file booted, with output to the console.
The screen didn't work - I see the libraries and calls in the .bsh file for it - it failed pretty silently
USB didn't work. Not sure what combination of uhci, ahci, ohci, xhci does the trick - I'm still monkeying around with that.
The screen not working seems like it could be a black hole of trying to find out why with the limited documentation, error messages, etc. The Nexcom platform is pretty old, but the BSP files are dated much later than the release of that hardware - so I am assuming there is a chance they could support something newer.
Oh well - the QNX efforts and struggles continue....Dan Naughton(deleted)2016-05-04T16:26:04Zpost116196: Re: Adding Screen Add on to 6.5.0SP1 image

Dan,
If you would like to try it on your board, while not supported, you can certainly see what needs to be included for Screen.
The documentation really exists as BUILD files for the supported board, which you can access from the BSP and Drivers project on Foundry.
Two build files are included as part of the Nexcom BSP, one with Screen and one without Screen. By comparing the two build files, you will be able to see what additional components need to be included and any path specific or env variables that need to be set.
I have provided a link to the Nexcom VTC1010 BSP (QNX 6.5.0 SP1):
http://community.qnx.com/sf/frs/do/listReleases/projects.bsp/frs.nexcom_vtc1010
You will also find a BSP Users Guide that may be of some help but note that many of the instructions are specific to the VTC1010 board.
I hope that helps,

It is intentional from the perspective that you need support for the specific GPU in order to run Screen. Only the boards mentioned in the Release notes currently have Screen support for QNX 6.5.0 SP1. For those two boards, one ARM, one x86, there is a BSP with a build file. Building that IFS will result in an image with Screen support included.Dave Nickerson2016-04-29T19:43:09Zpost116190: Re: Adding Screen Add on to 6.5.0SP1 image

Thanks Dave,
no it's not.
Nexcom VTC-1010 - This is Bay Trail Intel platform launched in 2013
NXP i.MX6D/Q SABRE --- This one is ARM based - totally difference
My platform is based off the Intel Brawell Celeron N3010 - came out in Q1 2015. It's about as generic as generic gets in x86 Intel world.
So I would test it - but my original problem remains - that the documentation does not tell you how to included it in a project. That seems to be an intentional oversight.Dan Naughton(deleted)2016-04-29T19:29:16Zpost116189: Re: Adding Screen Add on to 6.5.0SP1 image

I am trying to build an EFS (Flash System Image) from FreeScale iMX6. Instructions from Documentation here:
http://www.qnx.com/developers/docs/660/index.jsp
To create a flash filesystem project:
1. From the main menu, select File > New > Project.
2. Expand QNX, then select QNX System Builder Project in the right. Click Next.
3. Name your project and click Next.
4. Specify whether you want to import an existing buildfile or create a generic file.
5.Specify your target hardware (e.g., armle-v7).
6. Click Finish. The IDE creates your new IFS project, which includes a generic .ifs image.
7. In the editor, use the Add New Image icon in the System Builder editor's toolbar to create a new image element:
8.To add an EFS image to the new IFS project, select either the option to import an EFS buildfile, or to create a generic EFS model.
9.Now, that you have two images in the project, remove the empty IFS image that was created by default.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In step 6. The project doesn't create .ifs image, no images are created. If I clean/build, I get a .raw image
In Step 7. I don't see an new image icon or add new image feature in menu. I am in the QNX System Builder perspective. The image options under File menu, are new " add QNX build image", which if I select and click finish, I get Illegal Thread Access Error.Samer Abdallah(deleted)2016-02-04T19:07:37Zpost115575: Re: Add linear algebra libraries as ATLAS or BLAS

Sounds like a cool project. But, yeah, you would need to compile the library to run on QNX and unfortunately we don't have a Fortran compiler.Doug Schaefer(deleted)2016-01-20T16:27:57Zpost115574: Re: Add linear algebra libraries as ATLAS or BLAS

for a special project, I have to compute some simple matrix and vector operations as scalar product and matrix-matrix-multiplication. As computing these operations is way faster using libraries like BLAS for example, I would like to add those to my project. They shall be computed on a BeagleBone Black.
You can find these libraries online in .tar or .lib format. But as far as I know, QNX can only include .a (static) or .so(dynamic linking). On top of that, I am concerned if it is generally possible to include such libraries because they are written in FORTRAN. I am new with QNX and very grateful for your help!

6.6 version does not have graphical editor in the system builder. You add a binary but typing binary's file name in the build file
BSP usually have build file its either called "build" or have ".build" extension.
.project file is there but its invisible by default, you don't really need to look at it. project.bld file won't be created in this version.
IDE will call make to build an image it should have same result as calling make on command line
Instead of creating new system builder project you need to use Import BSP Project wizard which will set it all up correctlyElena Laskavaia2016-01-06T14:27:25Zpost115412: Re: Issues on building QNX 6.6 IFS/EFS image through Momentics

Thanks for your reply!!!
I have been stuck in this issue for couples of days, the tutorial in the Momentics is also incorrect, hope QNX can release the correct document and Momentics as soon as possible.
I think the best and most applicable way now is building through command.Marcus Liang(deleted)2016-01-06T03:44:41Zpost115406: Re: Issues on building QNX 6.6 IFS/EFS image through Momentics

Unfortunately this pdf refers to features found only in the previous version of QNX System Builder perspective. The QNX System Builder perspective include in Momentics 6.6 is really a graphical front end for the mkifs tool that includes an editor for editing the build files.
This issue has been noted and is scheduled for correction in a future documentation release.

The icon bar does not exist in the 6.6 version of the QNX System Builder perspective. Adding binaries, files, libraries etc is done by editing the build file, mush the same way as it is done for the command line version of building images.
Creating efs is easiest done from the command line. You could however also do this by modifying the Makefile but this would be somewhat more cumbersome than simply using the command line tools for building efs images.

You can deploy the .raw image the same way that you deployed the .bin image built from the command line. You could if you wanted simply rename the .raw file and give it the .bin extension (or more common .ifs extension) for your convenience, the image file contents would remain the same. If you would prefer that the file be built with your preferred file extension, you can edit the project's Makefile to create the image with the extension of your choosing.
Cheers

http://community.qnx.com/sf/go/post115384
Dear all,
I'm new to QNX 6.6 and trying to build a x86 image. I installed QNX Momentics IDE on Ubuntu 14.004, and downloaded the latest x86 BSP from "http://community.qnx.com/sf/wiki/do/viewPage/projects.bsp/wiki/X86Bios".
By following the instruction of the BSP document, I can build a ".bin" image through command-line without Momentics IDE and deploy it on a USB flash..
However, I got some problem on building it through IDE
(A) Where is the project related files? After I create a QNX system builder project by import the setting of the x86 BSP. According to the document "IDE User's Guide_.pdf", there should be a ".project" & "project.bld" file, however I didn't find these at all.
(B) How to add binary? How to create a efs?
For adding binary or create a efs image, I need some icon in the System Builder editor's tool bar, like "Add new binary" or "Add New Image", but I didn't see these icons in the tool bar.
(C) IFS is .bin or .raw?
By using the command-line, the image I built is ".bin", but the image I built from Momentics IDE is ".raw". I have no idea about how to deploy this image to USB flash or hd.Marcus Liang(deleted)2015-12-31T07:17:00Zpost115036: Re: mig4nto.qpr installation

I don't think mig4nto.qpr is supported anymore. A qpr file is basically a tar file with some extra stuff, but we no longer provide the package manager that works with that type of archive. Even if you do manage to install it, you might not be able to use the contents. Your best bet is to read the Migration Guide that accompanies that archive, or see this appendix in Getting Started With QNX Neutrino:
http://www.qnx.com/developers/docs/6.5.0SP1/neutrino/getting_started/s3_qnx2nto.html
You might also want to try the Quickstart Guide:

Hi I'm new to QNX and Im trying to get the default "hello world" style program to run on QNX Neutrino (on a virtual machine, development is on the Windows Host). My question is how do I bring the release version of the program to my QNX target so i can start it from the command line? Also information on the "qconn" would be helpful. Does this allow eclipse to test-run the programs over the network on the target system?

Sorry, does not work. I even deleted everything in that .settings directory, and it still happens after starting. I already have 3 workspaces, and it happens regardless of which I use (the other two I haven't used in months since long before this began.)
So it must be some setting independent of workspace settings.

Hi Kevin,
Sorry to hear that you are having trouble. From what you are explaining this unfortunately looks like a bug in Eclipse (which Momentics is built upon). Which version of Momentics are you using?
Creating a new workspace should solve all your problems, although that could be a lot of work depending on your configuration.
Alternatively, you might have some success with the preference file: <workspace_location>/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.runtime/.settings/org.eclipse.ui.workbench.prefs
It contains all of the custom key bindings you've set (under the key org.eclipse.ui.commands). Have a look into there to see if there's anything that stands out (perhaps duplicate entries?) that could be cleaned up.
If you do decided to try and edit this file, before you do so please backup your workspace.
Thanks,
David

tl;dr I hit ctrl-c to copy, and a lil' yellow overlay pops up in the lower right corner of the IDE window. I have to click it to do the copy.

I wanted to change QNX Momentics IDE to use Visual Studio (hoping it would do things like ctrl-x to cut, etc, and ctrl-shift-f to find in files.)
Now when I hit a control key chord, say, ctrl-x to cut, a little overlay in the lower right pops up with what it is, "Cut", and the key, "ctrl-x". I HAVE TO CLICK ON IT TO DO THE CUT.
If I go to a field, say, the search box field, and do ctrl-v to paste, it does the exact same thing.
At one time I did ctrl-shift-f to find, and it popped up two different things to choose from. I suspect this "helpful" feature turned on this, but it doesn't go off any more.
I changed the keyset back to default from Microsoft Studio and then also clicked the "reset keys to default" button on the dialog, but target remains, Mr. President. Target remains.
I am pulling my hair out of this "feature" as it gets in the way of key shortcuts by un-shortcutting them by inser oh I give up.

You can modify the build file to add the commands you wish to have available on the board.
I do see that ftp is part of the standard IFS image that boots the board. (mkdir is not and would need to me added).
You can also use the QNX Momentics IDE and connect to the board over ethernet using qconn.Dave Nickerson2015-06-26T19:25:02Zpost114026: No commands/ftp on Pandaboard ES

I'm working with QNX 6.5 SP1 and a Pandaboard ES. I'm reading via serial port and can ping it via Ethernet as well. Start Up seems pretty ok, no error messages. I'm missing standard commands like mkdir, cp,... et cetera. In addition I also cannot connect to the board via FTP (using Filezilla). Is this normal for the BSP? I had no problems like this with the beagleboard BSP (obvs on a beagleboard).
Pls help me or ask if you need any more information about this problem of mine.

Copy the ISO that you downloaded to your hard drive (rather than your CD drive).
When prompted by VMWare, tell it that you have a CD image (ISO) that you would like to boot from.
Should succeed from there.

http://community.qnx.com/sf/go/post113558
I ran into this problem on ubuntu 14.04 (x86_64 64bit).
I *solved* it by downloading oracle linux jdk 8 32 bit (since the IDE is 32bit), at this time the current file is 'jdk-8u40-linux-i586.tar.gz' , Java SE Development Kit 8u40 and installing it into some *non-system* directory:
sudo mkdir -p /opt/oracle/jdk/32bit/
sudo tar xf jdk-8u40-linux-i586.tar.gz -C /opt/oracle/jdk/32bit
I then changed the qnx660-env.sh script to *not* include the path to the qnx bundled java, instead use the new one:
PATH=/opt/qnx/6.6.0/host/linux/x86/usr/bin:/opt/qnx/6.6.0/.qnx/bin:$PATH
# oracle jdk
PATH=/opt/oracle/jdk/32bit/jdk1.8.0_40/bin:$PATH
Adapt to your system (you probably have a different qnx install path ). It might also work with just the JRE.
enjoy,

"No repository found" when trying to install SDK in Momentics
I download and install Momentics (from the 6.6 DVD), when it starts up prompts me to install some SVN and Java stuff, that works no problem, also says I need to install SDK. Specifically this is in Momentics 5.0.1 Build v201402230336 running under Windows 7 64-Bit, all latest updates applied.
I go to Help -> Install New Software... and under "Work with:" select "QNX Momentics Update Site - https://www.qnx.com/account/updates/foundry27/ide/5.0/"
Then get this in the big white box with the "Name" and "Version" columns:
Could not find https://www.qnx.com/account/updates/foundry27,
Also I've seen elsewhere, sorry but forget exactly when:
No repository found at https://www.qnx.com/account/updates/foundry27/ide/5.0/'

Some other facts about this install:
(a) It was actually working when I first installed it.
(b) I might have messed it up when I also installed Momentics for BlackBerry 10
(c) I've reinstalled it, no help.
(d) But the "http://community.polarion.com/projects/subversive/download/eclipse/3.0/juno-sr2-site/" repo works fine, which leads me to believe the problem is QNX-specific.Daniel J Clark(deleted)2015-01-10T17:46:47Zpost112826: Re: QNX SDP 6.5.0 disk boot falilure on PCM-4153FZ2

Hi Elena.
Thank you for your interest.
My CD contains QNX SDP 6.5.0 for x86 boards only. While trying to install it
an information appears on the screen that tere is not enough space on disk
(in my case: 1GB NAND flash accessed via EIDE interface).
I abandoned automatic installation idea and I have read manual about
building OS images.
After couple of days of fighting I eventually managed to build OS image and
transfered it to flash storage of PCM-4153. For now there are only few
components working like: console, eide driver and file system, serial ports,
network interface as well as some system commands (ls, pwd, cp, ifconfig
pidin etc.). The installed system is also accessed via LAN from Momentics
IDE which is installed on Windows host.
I have also attached PCM-3680I CAN interface card to PCM-4153, run its
driver and it is working too. I have achieved what I wanted namely
controlling Maxon motor with EPOS2 controller via CAN interface.
I have still much to learn with bilding OS images but first steps are behind
me

Hi everyone.
In case someone will have similar difficulties, I have managed to solve the problem. Apparently QNX does not want to boot from USB-CDROM.
In my PCM-4153FZ2 there is IDE interface but it is using 44-pin ribbon cable (notebok type hdd's). I had to make 40 pin IDE cable in order to attach good old-fashioned 5,25' CD-ROM drive.
After switching boot priority to CD-ROM in bios, QNX booted nicely.

Hi Everyone.
I have got some experience in QNX RTOS installed on PCM-3362 single board computer but recently I've encountered a problem while trying to install the same system on PCM-4153FZ2 single board computer.
I was trying to install QNX RTOS from bootable CD using CD-ROM connected via USB. This information appeared on the screen:
Boot from CD:
1. FD 2.88MB System Type-(00)
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRES ENTER
Boot priority seems to be properly set in BIOS because WindowsXP is booting correctly from the same CD-ROM. Furthermore this QNX CD is booting correctly on my laptop and on PCM-3362 as well.
Does anyone have any idea what might be the problem?
Is it because quite poor hardware specification this PCM-4153 SBC?
Computer parameters are as follows:
AMD Geode LX800 500MH,
512MB RAM,
1GB onboard Flash NAND drive.

I will appreciate any help on this.

devc-serusb is a standard driver and ships with the QNX Neutrino SDP 6.6.0 .
You will find it in your base installation directory qnx660/target/qnx6/armle-v7/sbin

Or in the case of name_close(), when the last name has been closed between the client process and the server process. Each name_open() from the client process to a name that is serviced by the same server process represents a connection (coid) and a client-server relationship between the client process and the server process. Only when all the client-server relationships between the client and server have been severed, will the disconnect pulse be sent by the kernel.
Hope that makes sense.Dave Nickerson2014-10-15T18:46:53Zpost112050: Re: RE: No _IO_CONNECT not being sent to server on name_open()

You would not get a disconnect pulse until all connections from a client process are closed. So not from each ConnectDetach() but when ConnectDetach() is called for the last coid between the client process and the server process.Dave Nickerson2014-10-15T18:41:51Zpost112040: Re: RE: No _IO_CONNECT not being sent to server on name_open()

Thank you very much Dave Nickerson.
Now I have next problem:
some clients connect to server (each client uses name_open() that set connecton to the server)
then if the client disconnect from server (use name_close() ) I don't receive _PULSE_CODE_DISCONNECT.
I receive this pulse only when last client disconnect. i.e.
client 1 connect - OK
client 2 connect - OK
client 3 connect - OK
client 3 disconnect - have not _PULSE_CODE_DISCONNECT
client 2 disconnect - have not _PULSE_CODE_DISCONNECT
client 1 disconnect - have _PULSE_CODE_DISCONNECT
Although in this site http://www.qnx.com/developers/docs/6.5.0/index.jsp
the article about name_attach() says:
" case _PULSE_CODE_DISCONNECT:
/*
* A client disconnected all its connections (called
* name_close() for each name_open() of our name) or
* terminated
*/"
I correct understand that each time when I call "name_close()" will be generate _PULSE_CODE_DISCONNECT?
or I am wrong?

By default name_attach () creates a channel with three flags set, one is the _NTO_CHF_DISCONNECT
Remove the ChannelDestroy and the ChannelCreate call from your code and you should be goog.

Hello.
I have a similar problem, but my server don't receive _PULSE_CODE_DISCONNECT.
server:
attach = name_attach(NULL, ATTACH_POINT, 0);
ChannelDestroy(attach->chid); // here I try to set flag "_NTO_CHF_DISCONNECT"
attach->chid = ChannelCreate(_NTO_CHF_DISCONNECT)
while ( 1 )
{
rcvid = MsgReceive()
if ( rcvid == -1)
{}
else if ( rcvid == 0 )
{
switch ( RxMsg.Mypulse.code)
{
case 0:
// pulse from timre; it is work
case _PULSE_CODE_DISCONNECT:
// doesn't work
}
else
{
// parsing message, it is work
}
}
client:
server_coid = name_open(ATTACH_POINT, 0)
while ( <condition> )
{
status = MsgSend()
}
name_close(server_coid);
// when executed this line, server don't receive _PULSE_CODE_DISCONNECT
Moreover, I try why running "gns" and whiout it.
Anybody know how it is possible to decide this problem?

http://community.qnx.com/sf/go/post111363
We've noticed that the problem with missing files is caused by
1. not logging out/logging back in after installing 6.5.0 and prior to installing 650SP1
2. not using "sudo -E" to launch 650SP1 installer on Ubuntu systems
To fix this installation you would have to:
- use the cleanup utility to remove all 6.5.x from your system.
- install 6.5.0
- log out/ log back in
- "sudo -E ./<650SP1-installer>"
This should resolve the issue.

Hi All,
I am really interested in QNX development and starting to collecting installation software and documents, but I didn't find a right link in website to apply a non-commercial license. My aim is self-training and personal activities.
I found a link to apply a 30-day evaluation license but it is for commercial projects only.
How can I apply a perpetual non-commercial license for QNX? or there is impossible to get this kind of license which is listed in official license guide. if you want to start to learn QNX, you have to buy a commercial license?
I am a little confused about QNX license. Thank you very much in advance.

First you need to compile this library for qnx, or find if somebody else
ported it already.
Then you just follow standard docs on how to include library in your
build system

The GNU Scientific Library, specifically the functions for creating polynomial fits to data sets.

Hello everyone,
first of all, I hope it's OK that I post my SDP issue here (after all Momentics is part of the SDP) and that this issue wasn't solved and I couldn't find it here.
So my issue is at the beginning of the installation of the QNX SDP 6.5.0SP1 where it can't find the appropriate JVM and it says I should try to install it with the commandline option -is:javahome <JAVA-Outputdirectory> when I tried it with my installed JVM (version 7) the same problem occures.
Here some informations about my systems:
Windows 7 Prof. 64 Bit
Java 7
I hope you can help me. Further I saw in an older thread, that it is possible to create an installation log through the option "-is:log sp1-log.txt" so I want to post the corresponding logfile.
I hope you can help me and if you need further informations I will try to answer all of them.
Yours sincerely

Hi,
There is no cleanup utility for 6.6.
The only reason you would get an installer error about the product being already installed is if you have another instance of .com.zerog.registry.xml somewhere on your system. Sometimes this files is placed into "Zero G Regsitry" folder, which is also a hidden folder.

from the installation notes:
---------------------------------
Note: If the uninstaller doesn't fully remove all the components, do the following:
Delete the folder where you installed QNX SDP.
Delete the "QNX Momentics" desktop shortcut and the link in the Start menu.
Find and delete all occurrences of .com.zerog.registry.xml. This is a hidden file, so you must enable the Show hidden files and folders option.
Delete the QNX SDP entries from the Add/Remove Program list by choosing Control Panel > Programs and Features from the Start menu, right-clicking on each QNX SDP entry, and then choosing Delete from the list.

I have installed QNX SDP6.6 and SDK for Apps and Media1.0 on windows 7. I have downloaded the VMWare image of QNX
neutrino runtime system and tried to install it on VMWare. Currently I am getting some error while installing QNX
neutrino RTOS on VMWare. Here I am attaching the screenshots of the error and the VMWare details FYI.
Please find the documents attached.
Any solution for this will greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.Jithin V P(deleted)2014-05-29T05:10:55Zpost110507: 6.5.0 AppBuilder starting nudge
http://community.qnx.com/sf/go/post110507
Hi Guy
Im having a problem with the QnX App Builder. Im completely new to the QnX environment.
I currently have the qnxsdp-6.5.0SP1-2012xxx-nto.sh Installed and I cant seem to find the Momentics IDE lanucher All I have is the App Builder.
So I decided that ill try and use the APp builder to build the GUI and then just manually add the code.Problem is the App Builder generates the code so cryptic that I have no idea where to start.
If I BUILD the code and I go have a look in it theres literally nothing that indicates an EVEN LISTENER when a button is clicked or radio button are marked ? Could someone please just nudge in the right direction here.
How do I generate code for WHEN a button is clicked?
To be honest the QnX user manual/Tutorial is a bit cryptic for a new QnX user.

http://community.qnx.com/sf/go/post110477
This is the correct behaviour, _IO_CONNECT is only received when gns is running.
The current recommendation is to check for message type when a message is received, if it is an _IO_CONNECT message, reply to it with an EOK, no data to allow the connect to succeed. After that message is handled, go back to your Msg_Receive() , your message from that client will be waiting (possibly with messages from other clients as well).
If you know that you will never do message passing over the QNET network (and gns will not be running), then you can ignore the _IO_CONNECT message.
The 6.6.0 documentation has been clarified for this behaviour.

You can edit makefile manually. Do one folder and see what it generates.
Just add stuff to the same make variable
(will be in common.mk)

Ok it does not smart enough to add them automatically. Go to project properties, select QNX C/C++ Project
Select Compiler tab, in drop down select Extra source paths, click Project... - add your folderElena Laskavaia2014-05-13T19:05:00Zpost110306: Re: Cannot link to source files in project sub-folders?

How did you create "source folder"? Looks like it does not think it is a

Hello,
I am just getting started with the QNX momentics IDE. I started creating a simple project but I am running into the
problem where the QNX Momentics IDE cannot seem to link against source files in sub folders of my project.
I have created a very small simple project, it is a QNX C/C++ project. It has the following structure: In the root
folder: MyTest.cc, and a source folder called asdf. In the /asdf/ folder: asdf.h and asdf.cpp exist.
MyTest.cc is as follows:
#include <cstdlib>
#include <iostream>
#include "asdf/asdf.h"
int main()
{
doStuff();
}
asdf.cpp is as follows:
/*
* asdf.cpp
*/
#include "asdf.h"
#include <stdio.h>
void doStuff()
{
printf ("hello, world.\n");
}
and asdf.h:
/*
* asdf.h
*/
#ifndef ASDF_H_
#define ASDF_H_
void doStuff();
#endif /* ASDF_H_ */
As you can see, this is a very simple example. The project compiles against the header correctly then gives me the
linker error: "undefined reference to doStuff"... I am new to QNX and a rather novice programmer, but this still strikes
me as something the IDE should be able to manage? What am I missing?
I can simply compile this example from command line with
g++ MyTest.cpp asdf/asdf.cpp -o MyTest
and it works just fine, so I am very confused why I cannot get the IDE to do the same.. Any advice?Ariosto Ferro2014-05-13T17:27:56Zpost110288: Re: RE: No _IO_CONNECT not being sent to server on name_open()

Hi,
Has this issue been resolved yet? I'm experiencing the exact same thing.
I don't have "gns" running, so should I just ignore this _IO_CONNECT message?

Hi,
I hooked up the BD-SL i.MX6 board to a 7" touch screen (http://boundarydevices.com/products/7-800x480-display/) and used the latest BSP for it to build the appsmedia-sample image.
When I try to launch this image I get the screen calibration screen, only its colors are off (blue backgroud instead of white) and the touch screen isn't working (I'm unable to "touch" the target).
I have used this BSP:
http://community.qnx.com/sf/wiki/do/viewPage/projects.bsp/wiki/FreescaleImx6QSabreLite
without any modifications.
The U-Boot text upon boot is looking good (white) on the screen.
Below is the boot serial output, and a photo of the screen is attached.
Can anyone please help?
Thanks!

Having investigated further, I don't think there is a good way without using a QNX 6.6 system.
This would create a chicken and egg problem except that QNX has provided a 6.6 VM system.
Once you have installed and started the VM you need to make your media available to the VM. The easiest way is via a USB device. Fortunately most media, EIDE, SATA, Compact Flash or SD can be attached this way with an adapter. Assuming you have your media visible as a device, the steps are.
1) create a partition using fdisk
2) mount the partition using "mount -e"
3) Initialize the partition using mkqnx6fs
4) create a mount point for the partition using mount
5) create directories using mkdir
6) copy the boot file, qnx utilities, startup scripts and your application to the media using cpMitchell Schoenbrun2014-04-08T17:49:48Zpost109849: Re: RE: Creating Bootable File System with QNX 6.6

I wouldn't know how. I would have to use the vmware download. I guess for arm which uses flash devices it`s a different story has one can create the raw image and dump it on the flash device. But for x86 and the requirement posed by the BIOS I`d be stump.
At the moment we use a QNX6 Vmware image and connect the device to it via USB. Next we format and partition the disk and install our custom "distribution" of QNX. Luckly we will be able to use the same idea with 6.6. OS wise I don`t care for the 6.6 new features, there are so little of them ;-( But we are in need of C++11 compiler.

There probably is a Duh! answer to this question, but it is not obvious to me.
If I were to download QNX 6.6 Momentics for Windows and install it, and then I wanted to create a QNX 6 (or QNX 4) file system that I can boot the QNX 6.6 OS off of.
Assume for a moment that I have no other access to a QNX 6 system, eg. the VMWare download.
How do I do this using just Windows and Momentics?

I have installed QNX 6.4.0 neutrino on an unused x86 box. It's all working fine, I can run my test code on there via the network connection (qconn).
However the sound does not work. When I click the audio settings I get an error, similarly if I run my code it can't find an audio card.
I had an on-board sound card (built-in). Running io-audio, I was not able to detect it. So I went a purchased a new off the shelf PCI sound card (CMI-8738), this also failed to be recognized by QNX.
When I run "pci -vvv | less" I am able to see both audio devices are connected (and I can see in the BIOS as well).
I read somewhere that I need to get some driver called deva-ctrl-cmpci.so, but I can't find that anywhere.
What can I do?firstname secondname(deleted)2014-02-24T15:00:02Zpost108840: Re: qconfig.mk file disappears after installing the 6.5 service pack

Hello folks,
currently, I'm trying to remote debug an application that is running on a remote target connected via network from my host desktop. I create a dummy Makefile object and create a launch configuration for it with the unstripped binary from the target and some library paths all located on my host desktop. The target seems to connect. However, after pressing the "debug" button in the launch configuration I get the error „Error in final launch sequence Cannot set share library paths binary object cannot be null“. Do you know what that means?

As Elena indicated, QConn is expecting to connect over a TCPIP connection. If the target has no other options, you _could_ setup PPP over serial. This of course would be a slow TCPIP connection but is workable is there is no network interface available.Dave Nickerson2013-11-04T15:59:48Zpost106491: Re: tracing user events

I emitted about 12 user events. However, since I run tracelogger with the option of '-s 3', I assume that it would force a buffer flush before it terminates, woudn't it?

How many user events did you emit? Did you stop tracelogger? Sounds
like the buffer wasn't flushed.

When running tracelogger with these filter options, it seems that the USREVENTS are not captured. This seems incorrect, because USREVENT is different class than the ones that get filtered with F1 to F7. Enabling one of the options also starts recording the USREVENT class.
Test it with:
tracelogger -F1 -F2 -F3 -F4 -F6 -F7 -s 3
./start_your_program_that_uses_trace_logi_while_trace_gets_logged

You cannot create qnx target using serial port because we can only do a limited interface though it.
You can open serial terminal, which allows file transfer OR you can do debugging over serial.

Hi,
I got my target running, I get pdebug running, but now I need to connect to the target through Momentics. I can't seem to create a target that uses a serial port (/dev/ttyS1). New target only gives me the option for networked targets. Am I doing anything wrong or is debugging through the serial port not supported on Momentics 6.5.0SP1?

Hello,
I get exactly the same problem on Ubuntu 13.04 x86_64.
1. sudo -E ./qnxsdp-6.5.0-201007091524-linux.bin
2. logout and login
3. /opt/qnx650/target/qnx6/usr/include/mk/ contains many files including qconf-linux.mk
4. sudo -E ./qnxsdp-6.5.0SP1-201206271006-linux.bin
5. logout and login
6. ls /opt/qnx650/target/qnx6/usr/include/mk/ only contains nto_mips.mk
Is this user error or should I report it as a bug?
Many thanks

Hi,
I am not sure if you figured this out or if any future QNX newbie runs into the same problem...
We had the same issue with an i86 machine; the symptoms were the same as Hieronim posted. The problem was in our /etc/rc.d/rc.local file. We were trying to mount some NFS directories that were moved since the original system was installed. I had to update the NFS mount point to the new location and I see the GUI and all is well with this QNX system :)
Hope this helps anyone else that runs into this error.

I have been using Ubuntu 12.04 and have the same issue. The qconfig.mk symbolic link points to files that don't exist after installing SP1.
I have found a solution. After speaking with our local QNX FAE, I uninstalled everything and re-installed from the console. I logged into Ubuntu with the recovery console (so no GUI) and did the install that way, always using "sudo -E <qnx-installer>.bin -console". You need the -console flag since you are at a console. Then I logged out and back in and repeated for SP1.
Now all qconfig.mk files are are there and I can build from Momentics or from the command line.Brent Bergan2013-09-23T17:53:57Zpost104689: Re: qconfig.mk file disappears after installing the 6.5 service pack

I am having the exact same problem and I did install sp1 using the -E option but it did not help. I still have this issue :(Hesham Alshaebi(deleted)2013-08-30T04:16:58Zpost104552: Re: QNX 6.5.0 Corrupted File System (ALWAYS)

You must run dinit on the partition. You will see a /dev/hd1t79 which is the partition device.

Subject: QNX 6.5.0 Corrupted File System (ALWAYS)
Hello,
I'm new to the forum and I thought I posted this already but I don't see my post added to the list, so hopefully this is not a duplicate. I'm desperately trying to just create a QNX partition on a hard drive but I always get "Corrupted file system detected". I've installed the QNX SDP 6.5.0 on my x86 Advantech PCM-9389 onto the primary SATA hard drive via the SATA CDROM. I replace the CDROM with a new SATA hard drive. Then observe the new drive is mounted on /dev/hd1. Then I:
1) fdisk -z /dev/hd1 to zero the partition table and enter interactive mode.
2) I change partition 1 to type 79, start at cyl 0, end at 4799, set the partition bootable, save, quit.
3) mount -e /dev/hd1
4) fdisk /dev/hd1 show this shows the drive as expected:
QNX type 79 start cyl 0 end 4799 size 37652 MB * (bootable)
5) I restart the system via "shutdown" command expecting QNX to automatically detect the new drive and partition and mount it for me.
6) I see "mount: Can't mount /fs/hd1-qnx4 (type qnx4)"
"mount: possible reason Corrupted file system detected"
I have also tried manually mounting after step 4 via "mount -t qnx4 /dev/hd1t79 /fs/hd1" and I get the same error as in step 6.
Please help and my apologies if this is a duplicate post. Thanks,
Eric Franz

Why would you want to do that? Which version of QNX are you using? If you are trying to use QNX 6.3 tools on Windows 7 - AFAIK this is not supported.

it's hard to tell what the problem is without seeing the error message.
Try downloading older version of java (for example: windows-sun-1.4.2.exe) and starting your installer from command line:

I don't know why the program change the name of file. The project's name is only 'Prueba1', and the file in /tmp folder is Prueba1AUTOMATIZACIÓNxxx... Adjunct new capture screen, but now i'm running system from CD.
AUTOMATIZACIÓN is the name of user in this pc, i try change it and try again without boot from CD.

That is a very big topic, and there is a lot of information you can (and
should) read. You can start with the examples and read QNX documentation.
Maybe you want to read QNX Neturino Programmer's Guide:

There should be an option in your debug configuration that says "use
unique names" you can uncheck that and the name of the binary on the
target should remain "as-is" without adding "unique" portion.

But in the screenshot you see that the name on the target is
concatenated with a "unique" string (I think it may be drived from your
host name). I suspect 'O' with the accent is confusing it.

Did you try this
1. Are the Environment variables set? If you're starting from a fresh
install,
then the environment variables shouldn't be set. You can check/change
these
by doing the following:
1a) Right click on My Computer and select Properties
1b) Select the Advanced Tab
1c) Press the Environment Variables button. If QNX_HOST and
QNX_TARGET are set, clear them.
2. If you're installing fresh, then ensure that QNX630/install is cleared
out.
3. To completely remove QNX from a Windows installation, ensure that the
following do not exist.
<drive>:\QNX630\host
<drive>:\QNX630\target
<drive>:\Program Files\QNX Software Systems
<drive>:\Windows\vpd.properties

Steps to reproduce:
1. Directly run the uninstaller for QNX SDP 6.5.0 SP1 (not through control panel).
2. Before restarting also run the uninstaller for QNX SDP 6.5.0 (again, not through control panel).
3. Restart.
4. Run the installer for QNX SDP 6.5.0 and you will see the following message:
"The installation cannot continue because this product is already installed. If you wish to reinstall it, please unistall it first."
5. Referring to other related issues on this topic I found a cleanup utility at

6. Run the clean up utility for SP1 and the regular installation.
7. Restart
8. 4. Run the installer for QNX SDP 6.5.0 and you will see the following message:
