Steve Bergwerff
- Mosa's co-op term ends this week
- Team to push to get remaining high priority PRs in for the M5 build.
- Important Trinity 2 dates to be aware of:
- M4 testing has started
- M5 build is scheduled for Jan 16
Doug Bailey
- Worked on PRs last week
- PR 40853 for a Trinity 2 regression failure but turned out to be a test case error
- PR 45734 regarding disabling signals during a mapinfo call. Fixed for Trinity2.
- This week will continue working on customer and Trinity 2 PRs.
Peter Mitsis
- Investigating PR 53580 for a Trinity 2 regression failure. Seems to be either faulty media or driver.
- Continued analysis of fixed PRs to determine exactly which ones would be included in an update to the file system.
- Preparing for objective of releasing filesystems on F27.
Mosa Yeung
- Co-op term here ends this week.
- Completed code changes discovered during lint checking and submitted for code review. Also running regression tests on the changes.
- Sent interupt latency tests to Brian and Colin to review.
Brian Stecher
- Finished work on PR 51152, customer reported issue on 6.3.0 SP2. Have proven that it is a chip errata and not the OS.
- Spent a lot of time triaging incoming PRs and doing code reviews.
- This week will be continued work on PRs.
Shiv Nagarajan
- Worked on three customer reported issues for Trinity 2.
- One was for a process getting blocked on an mmap_peer call. This has been resolved.
- Second is a select() issue with telnet. Have Sean involved with the investigation on this. Tried a number of tests to try and narrow it down.
- Third is a reported crash triggered by a qnet test. Tried to reproduce it here without success.
- Working on cleaning up some PRs with debug malloc.
- Have some other PRs for Trinity 2 that will try to complete and send diffs for CI.
- Sent some code to Brian to review as a possible enhancement for memory accounting.
Attilla Danko
- Spent some further time looking at async message code to see if some of the remaining issues can be fixed without a rewrite of the code.
- Spent 2 days in meetings with consultants regarding additional process certification.
- Prepping for a customer meeting on adaptive partitioning.
- Started helping out on Memory Partitioning. Looking into possible use of posix spawn.
- Will be participating in an ISO audit.
Colin Burgess
- Resolved customer Trinity 2 issue with trying to read process memory and getting a server fault. Was a bug in the customer code.
- Working on Trinity 2 customer reported issue using wired TLB. Not blocking the customer right now but Brian still to add a fix.
- Investigating Trinity 2 customer reported issue with io_char.
- Attended a meeting on virtualization.
- Attended a meeting on dtrace.
- Working with a Trinity 2 customer on resolving some branching issues. Have that complete now.
- Looking into a Trinity 2 customer reported issue with devctl call on SMP.
- Working on tiger team for getting a full head branch using the gcc 4.2.1 compiler.
- Attended PR review on all that are assigned to me. Have another meeting this week to complete it.
Mike Kisel
- Working on solidifying Memory Partitioning for Trinity2.
- Have some outstanding CI comments to reply to and more to post.
Marian Kos
- Running Trinity 2 APM regression tests, changing and fixing test cases, creating new ones, and generating PRs,
- Started testing other architectures. X86 is good. ppcbe and mipbe has a fair amount of test failures but it could be a test error. Investigating.
