ESX 4.0   
devnp-e1000 works fine on VMWare workstations when the VM is set to use that device. However on ESX networking doesn't 
work even though the driver starts fine. 

Any pointers?

I can only think that this has something to do with ESX, seeing that the
driver works under VMWare. We don't have ESX.
