Aviage can output a PCM stream (it does so for CDDA and iPod digital audio). I don't know about the input side of things
w/r to I2S. In a worst case scenario you could write your own MMF module(s) to handle the input side of things and when
you plug those into io-media it should be able to play it.

Typically we would have an io-audio driver written for an i2s PCM input. MME 1.2 and io-media are capable of playing a
line-in input. You need to create the line in input mediastore which is in the documentation.
