QUERY : mounting ext3 file systems in QNX Neutrino

good morning fffolks:

is it possible to mount an ext3 file system in QNX Neutrino? the `mount' help page does not list ext3. this is very 
surprising since ext3 is widely used in Linux.

The EXT3 filesystem is not supported under Neutrino.

thats surprising since EXT3 has been around for a very long time indeed and we are now looking at EXT4.

so, why no support for EXT3, i wonder.
